Job Location: Tualatin, OR (onsite)

Pay Range: $50 – $61.10/hr

Contract: 6 months

Job Description :

A leading advanced technology manufacturing company is seeking a Mechanical Engineer III to support the design, development, and analysis of mechanical systems and equipment in a high-tech manufacturing environment. This role involves working closely with cross-functional teams to develop innovative engineering solutions, improve existing designs, and support product development activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and analyze mechanical systems, components, equipment, and packaging solutions.
• Conduct feasibility studies, engineering calculations, and testing for new and modified product designs.
• Develop and modify 3D CAD models, assemblies, and engineering drawings using NX CAD software.
• Support prototype development, design validation, and testing activities.
• Collaborate with drafting and engineering support teams to generate detailed design documentation and packaging specifications.
• Participate in troubleshooting and continuous improvement initiatives related to product design and manufacturing processes.
• Communicate technical information effectively with internal stakeholders and project teams.
• Maintain project documentation and engineering records in accordance with company standards.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
• Experience in mechanical design and product development within a manufacturing or high-tech environment.
• Strong proficiency with NX CAD software and 3D modeling/design tools.
• Knowledge of mechanical systems, fabrication methods, and engineering principles.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documentation.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working in the semiconductor or advanced technology industry.
• Experience supporting prototype development, testing, and design validation activities.
• Ability to work effectively in cross-functional engineering teams within fast-paced environments.
