Base location of IN, MI, OH, PA, AZ, or UT preferred but not required. This is a travel heavy position and travel is within an assigned territory./ppThe Field Marketing Representative supports the Companys premium goals via interaction with agents, associates, policyholders, and other internal and external customers. This position is responsible for fostering mutually beneficial business relationships with agents and brokers, serving as the main communication link between agents and the Company. The Field Marketing Representative is responsible for monitoring the market to evaluate the Companys competitive position with regard to products and pricing./ppEssential functions:/pulliServing as the agents advocate for the Company and the Companys advocate for the agents/liliTraining and development of agents and staff with respect to the Companys products, procedures, and services/liliReviewing and analyzing agency production and loss results and working to help those agents meet their agency and Company goals/liliMonitoring industry trends as well as products and rates offered by other commercial lines carriers to evaluate the competitive market position of the Company/liliSuccessfully implementing the Marketing Plan in an assigned territory to achieve Company goals and objectives/liliAssisting in the facilitation of agent events such as Agents Advisory Council and CSR Advisory Council/liliAdditional duties as assigned/li/ulpQualifications:/pulliFour-year degree in marketing or related field of study or a minimum five years equivalent experience with a minimum of two years marketing experience in the insurance industry/liliFamiliarity with basic underwriting concepts, practices, and procedures is a plus/liliIntermediate level Microsoft Office skills including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook/liliAbility to prepare business correspondence and reports/liliAbility to analyze marketing data and prepare reports, statements, and projections/liliDemonstrates a thorough knowledge of the organizational structure, programs, and processes/liliAbility to respond to non-routine inquiries from agents, policyholders, vendors, and associates/liliAbility to solve practical problems where standardization exists/liliAbility to effectively manage multiple tasks accurately and efficiently/liliMust be a licensed driver and maintain a valid drivers license in the state of residence/li/ulpRewards:/pulliThe ability to have a direct impact on the success of a small, but growing organization/liliOpportunities to grow and advance through our Personal Professional Development Program/liliParticipation in a comprehensive health plan, flexible work schedule, remote work opportunities, Retirement Plan, and Profit Sharing Bonus program!/li/ul/div
