We are seeking a Part-Time Business and Accounting Tutor to support students in mastering key concepts in business administration, finance, and accounting. The tutor will provide one-on-one and group tutoring sessions, assisting students with coursework, assignments, and exam preparation. This position is ideal for individuals with a strong background in business, accounting, and financial principles who are passionate about helping students succeed.

Advanced degree in a related field. Note: Degrees and hours must be from a college accredited by a US Dept. of Education accepted accrediting agency such as SACSCOC.
Essential Duties
Provide Academic Support:
Conduct one-on-one tutoring sessions for Business and Accounting students.
Help students develop problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
Facilitate Student Learning
Adapt tutoring strategies to meet diverse learning styles and academic needs.
Encourage students to develop effective study habits and independent learning skills.
Assist with Course Material
Guide students through assignments and exam preparation.
Support students in applying knowledge to practical and real-world scenarios.
Track Student Progress
Monitor and document student improvement and areas of difficulty by filing summary reports following each session.
Communicate with faculty or academic support staff regarding student progress as needed.
Maintain a Supportive Learning Environment
Foster a welcoming and encouraging atmosphere for students.
Respect student confidentiality and adhere to institutional policies.
Stay Updated on Subject Matter
Working with your supervisor, set professional development goals to expand and develop your knowledge of your subject area(s).
Additional Responsibilities
Perform other duties as assigned by the Academic Success Center Director to ensure efficient and effective operation of the Center.
