This role provides guidance to the accounting team and partners with internal stakeholders to support business objectives, controls, and reporting needs.Key ResponsibilitiesMaintain and enhance accounting procedures and internal controls to support accurate and timely reportingOversee the preparation and review of monthly and annual financial statementsEnsure financial records are maintained in accordance with GAAP and internal policiesSupport accounting activities for multiple entities and consolidated reportingSupervise, coach, and develop accounting staffOversee general ledger activity, journal entries, and account reconciliationsAnalyze balance sheet and income statement activity and investigate variancesCoordinate with external auditors and support audit requestsParticipate in special projects, including systems enhancements and process improvementsPerform additional responsibilities as neededQualificationsBachelor's degree in Accounting or related field7+ years of progressive accounting experience, including supervisory responsibilityStrong working knowledge of GAAP and general accounting practicesExperience with accounting systems and related toolsStrong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skillsHigh attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple prioritiesEffective communication skills and a collaborative working styleInterested in hearing more?
