Business Development Manager
The Commercial Sales team is expanding and is hiring for a Business Development Manager (outside sales). You'll drive new business in new territories, prospect and close deals, build lasting client relationships, and represent our brand with world class service. Market: Greater Allentown, PA areaRequirements:Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experienceCommitted to the values of initiative, responsibility, caring relationships, integrity, and innovationProficient in computer technology including Word, Excel, and e-mailExcellent written, oral, and interpersonal communication skillsAble to develop commercial customer proposals, sales and profit assumptionsValid driver's license, access to a motor vehicle and capacity to travelMust have at least 3 years of Sales experience Responsibilities:Exceed budgeted gross profit margins for Natural Gas, Propane, Mobile Fueling, Electricity and Wholesale FuelsDevelop an assigned sales territory to sell commercial products. Natural Gas, Propane, Mobile Fueling, Electricity, and Wholesale FuelsEnter new prospects into Salesforce dailyMaintain contact schedule and record into Salesforce dailyComplete all contracts, paperwork, and procedures involved in the sales processAttend weekly sales meetings and other required company meetingsCommunicate with customers to resolve problems and concerns in a courteous, professional, and timely mannerParticipate in training with the designated Product Leaders for products sold in assigned territoryProvide any needed assistance requested by the Product LeaderAuthority:Recommend pricing on behalf of customer needs to the Commercial Sales ManagerRecommend delivery requirements to the Product LeaderNot authorized to bind the company in any contract Relationships:Reports to the Commercial Sales ManagerInternal contacts: managers and team members at all company locationsExternal contacts: customers, businesses and trade associations, social organizations, and other groups as necessary to the sale of energy products Expected Results:Meet or exceed assigned sales goalsComplete 80% quarterly objectives as agreed upon with the Commercial Sales ManagerRetain 95% of existing customers within established marginsRecord all touches in Salesforce by close of business each business dayComplete 100% of To-DosTo succeed in this role:
