About the Clinician's Workday The anesthesiologist will provide comprehensive anesthesia services during Monday-Friday shifts typically 5x8 hours with consideration for 10-hour shifts and flexible scheduling including 2 weeks on/1 week off arrangements. Responsibilities include managing diverse surgical cases at both the hospital and outpatient surgery center including general, bread and butter, OB/GYN, orthopedic, spine, cardiac, and some healthy pediatric cases at the hospital, as well as mainly urology, ophthalmology/cataracts, and occasionally healthy pediatric dental cases at the surgery center. Call coverage is not required, though optional call is available one weekday per month with 24-hour OB call also available. The position operates under an autonomous model with negotiable board certification requirements.
