Job Title: OSHA and Employment Litigation Attorney
Location: Los Angeles, CA
Salary Range: $230,000-$270,000

Our client is a well-established U.S. law firm with a strong labor and employment practice. The firm handles complex workplace matters, including employment litigation and workplace safety enforcement actions, across California for a diverse range of clients.
Overview:
The Los Angeles office is seeking an attorney with at least 4 years of employment litigation experience. The ideal candidate will have experience defending employers in workplace safety-related enforcement actions brought by Cal/OSHA, Federal OSHA, or other state OSHA programs. This role offers the opportunity to work on sophisticated employment and safety-related litigation matters while taking on meaningful responsibility.
Key Responsibilities:

• Defend clients in workplace safety enforcement actions, including Cal/OSHA, Federal OSHA, and other state OSHA matters
• Draft and respond to discovery requests and initial pleadings
• Prepare and argue motions and other briefs
• Take and defend depositions
• Manage matters independently while collaborating with team members and interacting directly with clients

Qualifications:

• JD from an ABA-accredited law school
• Admission to practice in California
• At least 4 years of employment litigation experience, including workplace safety enforcement actions
• Strong academic credentials, legal writing, analytical, and communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple matters in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
