Description

The QC Tech will be responsible for the following tasks/responsibilities:

• Accurately records incoming raw materials and randomly pulls samples for inspection
• Inspects items to parameters listed on quality specification sheets
• Issue, Review and Close Batch Records for Production
• Is adept at using gauges, rulers, micrometers, snap gauges, calipers, microscopes and other inspection equipment
• Generate master production records and other documentation
• Review Test Results to ensure conformity with established specs
• Perform and log various testing results
• Maintain and review facility and equipment logs
• Perform and document in-process quality checks
• Perform and document facility, equipment, and environmental monitoring
• Perform line clearance including lot number and label review
• Materials management for sanitation of equipment and production areas
• Other QA/QC tasks assigned by management

Requirements

Position Requirements:

• 2+ years' experience in food manufacturing required
• Prior experience as a QC Inspector or Technician strongly preferred
• Prior experience in a regulated industry preferred
• Detail oriented
• Excels at both independent work and collaborating with team in fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Ability to multi-task
• Basic computer skills, preferably MS Office Suite
• Ability to be on feet and/or walk for extended periods
• Comfortable wearing personal protective gear including lab coat, face mask, hair net, etc.
• Solutions oriented attitude
• Growth mindset with the ability to spot areas needing improvement
• Willingness to learn new systems, techniques, and technologies
• Must be able to read/write/speak English
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred
