A litigation boutique law firm is seeking a highly experienced Senior Litigation Paralegal to join its Chicago office. The paralegal will work closely with attorneys and collaborate with a team of four other paralegals to provide comprehensive litigation support. This position is primarily onsite in downtown Chicago and plays a key role in case preparation, discovery, trial support, and client service.

A litigation boutique law firm is seeking a highly experienced Senior Litigation Paralegal to join its Chicago office. The paralegal will work closely with attorneys and collaborate with a team of four other paralegals to provide comprehensive litigation support. This position is primarily onsite in downtown Chicago and plays a key role in case preparation, discovery, trial support, and client service.
Responsibilities
- Proofread, edit, and cite-check memoranda and briefs.
- File documents in state and federal electronic filing systems.
- Assist with discovery, including document production and management of electronically stored information.
- Support deposition preparation and management, including use of relevant software tools.
- Coordinate all aspects of trial preparation, including onsite trial management (may require travel).
- Provide project management support to ensure deadlines and litigation milestones are met.
- Minimum of 10 years of litigation paralegal experience, including multiple trial experiences.
- Strong attention to detail with excellent follow-up and project management skills.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365.
- Ability to work both independently with minimal supervision and collaboratively within a team.
- Strong interpersonal skills with professionalism, diplomacy, and tact.
- Paralegal Certificate or bachelor's degree.
- Experience with document management systems.
- Familiarity with Westlaw and deposition processing software.
- Base salary: $115,000 - $140,000
- Hybrid schedule: 3 days in office (Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday), with preference for additional onsite presence.
