Accounting Manager
AIS is growing sign manufacturing and installation company specializing in custom signage solutions for commercial, municipal, and institutional clients. We are seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Part-Time/Full-time Accounting Manager to oversee financial operations and support the company’s continued growth.
Position Summary
The Part-Time Accounting Manager will be responsible for managing day-to-day accounting functions, financial reporting, job costing support, payroll coordination, accounts payable and receivable, and maintaining accurate financial records. The ideal candidate has strong accounting experience, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable
- Reconcile bank and credit card statements
- Prepare monthly financial statements and reports
- Maintain general ledger and accounting records
- Process payroll and related tax filings
- Monitor cash flow and assist with budgeting
- Support project/job costing and profitability tracking
- Coordinate with outside CPA for year-end reporting and tax preparation
- Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting procedures
- Assist ownership with financial analysis and operational reporting
- Maintain vendor files, insurance certificates, and subcontractor documentation as needed
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred
- Minimum 3–5 years of accounting or bookkeeping experience
- Experience with Netusite and Microsoft Office required
- Construction or sign industry experience preferred
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities independently
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
