Job Summary

We are seeking a Project Lead – Mechanical (Supervisor) to manage and execute engineering projects within a regulated pharmaceutical manufacturing environment. The role involves leading mechanical system design, installation, validation, compliance, and continuous improvement initiatives across facility operations while ensuring adherence to cGMP, FDA, and internal quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead mechanical engineering projects from planning through execution and close-out

• Manage project schedules, budgets, resource allocation, and vendor coordination

• Oversee HVAC, cleanroom, compressed air, chilled water, steam, and utility systems

• Support equipment and process validation activities including IQ/OQ/PQ

• Ensure compliance with cGMP, FDA, and regulatory requirements

• Support change controls, CAPA, risk assessments, and audit readiness

• Coordinate with QA, Manufacturing, Validation, Engineering, and external vendors

• Support CapEx planning, forecasting, and SAP-based reporting activities

Required Qualifications

✔ Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or related Engineering field

✔ 5+ years of pharma/biotech engineering and project management experience

✔ Strong knowledge of sterile manufacturing systems (vials, PFS, IV bags)

✔ Experience with validation lifecycle documentation and execution

✔ Familiarity with SAP, MS Project, or Primavera is preferred

✔ Strong communication, leadership, and troubleshooting skills
