<b><br><b>Job Description</b></b><br><br><b>Job Title: Control System Configuration Management - Controls NA</b><br><br><b>Working Pattern: Hybrid/Onsite in Office 3 days/week</b><br><br><b>Working location: Indianapolis, IN </b><br><br>The Configuration Management (CM) specialist supports engineers in complex system, software and hardware development. They are an active participant, helping the teams understand and comply with the CM aspects of the processes. During development it is important that the product life cycle data is controlled and documented correctly and consistently. When the product is ready for release, CM will assure data integrity is protected (baselined and archived) and can be retrieved. The CM specialist will also administer the CM tools and document the various baselines in the product Configuration Indices. All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to any protected characteristics.<br><br><b>What you will be doing:</b><br><br>The CM specialist will be expected to perform the following:<br><ul><li>Ensure the CM aspects of development conform to the declared plans and standards.</li><li>Maintain and explain the product and lifecycle data configuration baselines.</li><li>Understand the integration of all plans and standards involving configuration control, change management, and the control/release of data.</li><li>Understand data and archive media management.</li><li>Be a quorum member of the Change Control Board.</li><li>Enforce product and document review and approval requirements</li><li>Continuously improve CM practices and tools</li></ul><br><b>Who we're looking for:</b><br><br>At Rolls-Royce we put safety first, do the right thing, keep it simple and make a difference.
