Pediatric Medical Assistant

Pay: $17-$19 per hour

Private, independent pediatric practice seeking a reliable and energetic Medical Assistant to join our team. This role supports physicians and nurse practitioners by preparing patients for visits, assisting with clinical procedures, and helping maintain smooth patient flow.

Responsibilities include:

• Taking vital signs and updating patient histories
• Administering immunizations and tracking vaccine schedules
• Phlebotomy and specimen collection
• Preparing exam rooms and patient charts
• Performing in-office lab tests
• Managing referrals, scheduling, and patient calls
• Maintaining supplies and vaccine inventory

Qualifications:

• Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) preferred or equivalent experience
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to work well with children and families
• Team-oriented with a professional attitude

Work Environment: Pediatric medical office requiring standing, walking, bending, and occasional lifting (up to 30 lbs).
