Compensation: $120k - $130k (Potential Flex) + 10%-15% annual bonus + unlimited PTO + 401k matching (4% matching)

ABOUT THE ROLE:

The Corporate Accounting Manager is a full-time, in-office position based in the Phoenix, AZ area. This role is a key member of a growing accounting and finance team, responsible for overseeing corporate accounting operations, maintaining a strong controls environment, and supporting multi-location accounting teams. This position reports to senior accounting leadership and plays a critical role in financial reporting, process improvement, and team leadership.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Partner cross-functionally to build strong relationships across corporate departments
• Manage core accounting activities including journal entries, reconciliations, and month-end close
• Coordinate with internal teams to ensure accuracy of monthly accruals
• Collaborate with IT and other departments on capitalization vs. expense treatment decisions
• Oversee prepaid expenses and amortization schedules
• Lead and support payroll accounting processes in coordination with payroll teams
• Manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Review and resolve complex or non-standard general ledger transactions
• Identify risks and maintain a strong internal controls environment, including SOX (or similar) compliance and documentation
• Drive process improvements through automation and best practices
• Supervise and develop a small team (approximately 2–4 staff members)
• Ensure timely and accurate completion of team deliverables, including close, reporting, and compliance requirements

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required
• 6+ years of progressive accounting experience, including leadership responsibilities
• 2+ years of corporate accounting experience; experience in a publicly traded environment preferred
• CPA preferred
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Highly detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple deadlines
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
• Must be able to work on-site five days per week
• Experience in a fast-paced, high-growth environment is strongly preferred
