Senior Accountant, Finance

This position of Senior Accountant, Finance is responsible for managing and performing Senior Accounting related processes, including reporting, billing and special projects. This candidate will report to the Senior Manager, Finance.

Responsibilities

• Perform Senior Accountant related work, including, but not limited to the following:
• Oversee and manage third party and intercompany billing process, including updates to intercompany billings associated with shared service contracts
• Manage and ensure accuracy and completeness of billings associated with shared service contracts and proper recording in the GL
• Drive the process for intercompany shared service contract renewals to ensure timeliness and compliance to updated contract terms
• Manage OAI Insurance renewal process and intercompany billing allocation
• Support OAI close process through collaboration with the Accounting Manager
• Identify and implement improvements to policies, procedures, and internal business controls
• Assist in preparation of annual consolidated financial statements for OAI Group
• Performs JSOX testing around significant finance cycles
• Works with internal and external auditors
• Collaboratively identify and align data structure in systems to track KPI’s
• Completes other responsibilities and requests as directed or assigned

Qualifications

• Regular contacts with subsidiaries and consultants requires strong verbal and written communication skills
• Strong technical knowledge of accounting principles and current issues in accounting, experience with IFRS preferred.
• Advanced computer skills with a good understanding and experience using Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint (Power Query and Power BI experience is a plus)
• High level of initiative and ability to work with minimal supervision
• BA or BS with emphasis in Accounting/Finance with 5 - 7 years of related experience

This position is primarily located in our San Francisco office. Occasional travel will be required.

General office environment: Work in a downtown high-rise building and have ability to sit for long periods of time and to move about an office.

Pay Range

$125,000 - $135,000

The range shown represents a typical pay range or starting salary for candidates hired to perform the work. Other elements may be used to determine actual salary such as the candidate’s job experience, specific skills, and comparison to internal incumbents currently in role.
