We are a fast-growing energy trading firm active across U.S. power markets. As we continue to scale, we are hiring an Accounting Manager to lead key accounting processes supporting trade accounting, settlements, and financial reporting.

The ideal candidate will have a CPA and experience in accounting or auditing at a Big 4 firm, or experience in fund accounting, and the ability to operate in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment.

What You’ll Do

• Lead trading-related month-end close, including accruals, P&L reconciliations, and financial reporting
• Oversee credit monitoring, collateral tracking, and liquidity forecasting
• Partner closely with trading and risk teams to ensure position and revenue accuracy
• Manage audit support and ensure regulatory compliance
• Review and approve the recording and reconciliation of trading activity (FTRs, virtuals, bilateral power)
• Oversee review of ISO/RTO settlement statements
• Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes, controls, and reporting efficiency

What We’re Looking For

• 8+ years of accounting experience
• BIG 4 accounting or power trading or hedge funds
• Experience in fast-paced, performance-driven environments
• CPA
