Accounting Manager

WinCorp Solutions is seeking a Senior Manager - Technical Accounting & Financial Reporting to serve as a consultant for our Fortune 500 client, a financial services/investments company located in Irvine, CA.

***MUST BE ABLE TO WORK ONSITE MONDAY-THURSDAY, REMOTE FRIDAY***

***MUST HAVE STRONG Technical Accounting and Financial Regulatory Reporting expertise***

• SEC Reporting, ICFR, FINRA, US GAAP, Regulatory Reporting, Public Accounting, etc.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Manager Consultant to provide leadership and hands‑on execution support within Financial & Regulatory Reporting.

KEY QUALIFICATIONS:

• Public accounting experience
• Audit coordination & leadership
• Technical accounting (U.S. GAAP)
• Financial reporting & disclosures
• Regulatory reporting
• Risk assessment & ICFR
• Ad hoc project leadership
• Overall Senior Manager fit

Responsibilities

• Provide hands‑on leadership for technical accounting policy interpretation and issue resolution.
• Support external financial reporting, audit coordination, and related governance activities.
• Lead or support financial regulatory reporting and examination responses.
• Act as an interim advisor bridging Accounting and Business Finance on complex technical and regulatory matters.
• Contribute to foundational design and early execution for the ICFR Center of Enablement.
• There are no other shortfalls in teams’ resourcing, and associates include manager are all well-tenured.
• June 30 yearend.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in technical accounting, external financial reporting, and regulatory environments.
• Ability to integrate quickly, operate independently, and deliver results with minimal ramp‑up.
• Strong professional judgment, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
• Systems used primarily include Workiva for reporting, SAP for Accounting Regulators include FINRA, OCC and others (PREFERRED)
