Corporate Finance Associate – Power Infrastructure Portfolio
Location: Houston, Texas
A private equity-backed power infrastructure platform is seeking a highly motivated Corporate Finance Associate to join its growing team in Houston. This individual will play a key role supporting strategic finance initiatives, capital planning, project evaluation, M&A analysis, and broader portfolio management activities across the company’s power and energy infrastructure assets.
The ideal candidate will have 1–4 years of experience within investment banking, private equity, corporate finance, or management consulting, with direct exposure to energy, power, infrastructure, or large-scale project environments.
Responsibilities
- Support corporate finance and strategic initiatives across the power infrastructure portfolio
- Build and maintain detailed financial models related to project finance, valuations, budgeting, and forecasting
- Assist with debt financing, refinancing, and capital markets processes
- Evaluate acquisition, development, and investment opportunities across the energy and infrastructure sectors
- Prepare investment committee materials, board presentations, and management reporting packages
- Conduct market analysis, industry research, and competitor benchmarking
- Work closely with senior leadership, investors, lenders, and external advisors on strategic transactions and financing activities
- Monitor portfolio performance, project economics, and operational KPIs
Requirements
- 1–4 years of experience within:
- Investment Banking
- Private Equity
- Corporate Finance
- Management Consulting
- Strong experience within energy, power, infrastructure, renewables, utilities, or project-based sectors required
- Advanced financial modeling and analytical skillset
- Experience evaluating infrastructure or energy-related projects and transactions preferred
- Strong communication and presentation abilities
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Engineering, Accounting, or related field
- Highly driven, entrepreneurial, and capable of operating in a fast-paced environment
