We are seeking a highly organized and technically minded Structural Design & Project Coordinator to support ongoing project execution, consultant coordination, and structural production workflows within a growing technical design firm.

Position Overview

This role is ideal for an early-career structural engineer, structural designer, BIM coordinator, or technically minded engineering professional looking to gain hands-on experience across structural design, project coordination, permit support, and technical operations.

The selected candidate will work directly with the founder to support active structural and development projects while helping coordinate consultants, subcontractors, and internal project workflows.

This is a high-growth opportunity for someone interested in expanding beyond traditional drafting or engineering production roles.

Key Responsibilities

Structural & Technical Support

• Assist with structural modeling and analysis support using RISA 3D and related software
• Support structural calculations, load evaluations, and technical documentation
• Assist with drafting coordination and permit-ready documentation
• Review redlines and support drawing updates
• Coordinate with external drafting and engineering consultants
• Support telecom, industrial, residential, and light commercial projects

Project Coordination & Operations

• Organize project trackers, deliverables, and schedules
• Attend client and coordination meetings
• Prepare meeting notes and follow-up action items
• Coordinate subcontractors and freelance drafting support
• Assist with consultant communication and permit coordination
• Help maintain organized project folders and documentation systems
• Support CRM updates and project workflow management

Communication & Administrative Support

• Assist with client follow-up communication
• Coordinate scheduling and project updates
• Help answer or route technical/project-related inquiries when needed
• Support internal process improvement and workflow organization

Preferred Qualifications

• Background in Structural Engineering, Architectural Engineering, Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering, or related field
• Experience with RISA 3D, RAM Elements, or similar structural analysis software preferred
• Experience with Revit and/or AutoCAD preferred
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, growing environment
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and shifting priorities
• Self-motivated and detail-oriented
• Telecom or industrial project experience is a plus
