Position: Client Operations Center Associate
Location: Hanover, MD
Comp: $70K-$90K
Position Overview
The Client Operations Center Associate plays a critical role in launching and scaling a new warehouse operation focused on accuracy, timeliness, and customer value. This role is designed for individuals who take pride in their work, operate with a high level of ownership, and are motivated to continuously improve processes.
As part of a small, foundational team, you will be cross trained across all warehouse functions and will help establish the standards, workflows, and culture of the operation from day one.
Key Responsibilities
Receiving & Putaway
- Receive inbound materials using TWL warehouse management system
- Verify accuracy of shipments and perform system transactions
- Execute efficient and organized putaway
Order Fulfillment
- Pick, pack, and prepare orders with a focus on speed and accuracy
- Ensure all outbound shipments meet customer and quality requirements
Shipping
- Process and ship orders using designated systems and carriers
- Maintain on-time shipment performance
Inventory Control
- Perform cycle counts and inventory audits
- Investigate and resolve discrepancies
- Maintain accurate system and physical inventory
Warehouse Operations
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- Complete daily forklift inspections and operate equipment safely
- Support general warehouse upkeep and organization
Performance Expectations
- Achieve and maintain near 100% inventory and order accuracy
- Consistently meet or exceed on-time shipping and receiving targets
- Take ownership of errors and actively work toward root cause resolution
- Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, reduce cost, and streamline workflows
Continuous Improvement Culture
- Actively participate in Kaizen and Lean initiatives
- Contribute ideas to improve processes, reduce waste, and enhance productivity
- Help build scalable, repeatable processes from the ground up
Qualifications
Required:
- Warehouse, logistics, or operations experience preferred
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to learn and operate warehouse systems (TWL or similar WMS)
- Forklift experience or willingness to become certified
- Strong work ethic and accountability
Preferred:
- Experience with inventory control or cycle counting
- Familiarity with Lean, Kaizen, or process improvement concepts
- Experience in a startup or fast-paced operational environment
