Medical Assistant (Lynn, MA)

3 Month Summer Contract!

Responsibilities/ Job Duties

• Room patients and prepare them for provider visits
• Obtain and document patient history, chief complaints, allergies, and vital signs
• Perform point-of-care testing and screenings
• Collect and label specimens for laboratory testing
• Assist providers during exams and procedures
• Perform diagnostic testing including EKGs, spirometry, audiometry, vision testing, and other screenings
• Assist with medication reconciliation
• Assist with preventive screenings and chronic disease monitoring
• Clean and stock exam rooms
• Prepare and clean instruments for sterilization
• Monitor supply inventory and report equipment concerns

Minimum Education and Experience Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Completion of a Medical Assistant training program with externship OR minimum six (6) months of MA experience required

Schedule/ Shift

Monday-Friday (40 hrs a week)

8:30am - 5:00pm
