HRBP (Onsite- Texas City, Texas – Chemical Plant Environment)
INEOS Acetyls is seeking an experienced HRBP to support our manufacturing operations. This role partners closely with site and functional leaders, providing both strategic guidance and hands-on support across employee relations, labor relations, and workforce execution in a union and non-union environment.
This position plays a key role in supporting safe, reliable operations while minimizing people-related risk and strengthening overall organizational effectiveness.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as a trusted advisor to leadership on employee relations, workforce planning, and organizational effectiveness
- Lead complex employee relations matters, including investigations, discipline, and performance management
- Support and administer labor relations activities, including grievance handling and interpretation of collective bargaining agreements
- Provide guidance on HR policies, employment law, and risk-based decision making
- Partner on recruiting, succession planning, and performance management processes
- Ensure compliance with safety, regulatory, and HR governance requirements
- Analyze workforce trends and support continuous improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in HR, Business, or related field
- 10+ years of progressive HR experience, including strong employee relations experience
- Experience in manufacturing or industrial environments preferred
- Professional HR certification (PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP/SCP) preferred
Skills & Experience
- Strong employee and labor relations background, including grievance handling
- Working knowledge of collective bargaining agreements and labor law
- Experience with HRIS systems (Workday preferred)
- Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to influence and coach leaders at all levels with a high level of discretion
