As we continue to expand globally, we are currently in the early-stage setup phase of our US market entry and are seeking exceptional talent to help build and establish our local operations from the ground up.
About the Role
We are looking for a hands-on professional to support the day-to-day operations of our U.S. entity through finance, accounting, payroll, HR, and general administration functions. As part of the Finance & HR Operations role, you will help ensure smooth and compliant business operations while working closely with the Head of U.S. Business and relevant stakeholders across the Korea headquarters, including Finance and HR functions, to support the successful establishment and growth of our U.S. business. This role is ideal for someone who is comfortable wearing multiple hats, working independently, and thriving in a fast-paced and evolving environment.
Key Responsibilities
Finance & Accounting
- Support day-to-day accounting operations, including AR/AP, month-end closing, and financial documentation
- Prepare financial reports and support reporting to the Korea headquarters
- Coordinate with external accounting partners for tax filings, audits, and compliance-related matters
- Monitor expenses and support budgeting and cost management processes
HR & Administration
- Coordinate payroll and HR operations with external HR vendors and partners
- Handle recruiting coordination, onboarding, offboarding, employee records, and HR administration
- Support employee relations and day-to-day office operations
- Manage contracts, documentation, and general administrative tasks
- Ensure compliance with U.S. federal and California labor regulations
- Coordinate with Korea headquarters and support day-to-day operational needs
Qualifications
- 5–9 years of experience in Finance, Accounting, HR, or Operations roles
- Hands-on experience in payroll processing and general accounting
- Basic understanding of US labor laws and compliance requirements
- Ability to manage multiple responsibilities independently
- Strong attention to detail and execution capability
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced and evolving environment
- Effective communication skills, especially in cross-border collaboration
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in retail, fashion, or consumer brands
- Experience in a small team or standalone operational role
- Familiarity with California labor environment
- Korean language proficiency is a plus

The expected annual base salary range for this position is $75,000 – $100,000 USD. Actual compensation will be determined based on various factors, including relevant experience, skills, qualifications, and overall fit for the role.
