Accounting Manager-AR

We are seeking a hands-on Accounting Manager to lead high-volume billing and accounts receivable operations across multiple profit centers. This role serves as the day-to-day lead and subject matter expert, supporting a team of five and partnering closely with finance and operations to ensure accurate invoicing, strong controls, and healthy cash flow. This direct hire opportunity offers $85k-$95k.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead daily billing and AR activities, including invoicing, and reconciliations
• Ensure timely, accurate billing and resolve discrepancies
• Serve as escalation point for complex billing or system issues
• Support month-end close, reporting, and aging analysis
• Identify process improvements and support workflow enhancements
• Collaborate cross-functionally with finance and operations
• Support training and onboarding of billing/AR staff

Qualifications

• 5 years of billing or AR experience in a high-volume environment
• Experience supporting multi-entity or multi–profit center operations
• Prior lead or senior-level experience preferred
• Strong working knowledge of GAAP
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred
