Accounting Consultant

A manufacturing company I work with in New Berlin is seeking an Accounting/Financial Analyst to support a recent ERP implementation and drive process improvement initiatives. This role will look to improve reporting, streamline accounting processes, and support month-end close activities. There is one day remote offered, four days onsite. This is a contracted position; 60-90 days, potentially longer.

Responsibilities

• Improve and clean up accounting/finance processes
• Support month-end close and reconciliations
• Perform financial analysis and reporting
• Develop SQL-based reports and dashboards
• Document processes and create SOPs
• Identify operational gaps and recommend improvements
• Partner cross-functionally with accounting, finance, and operations teams

Requirements

• Strong process improvement experience
• Advanced ERP, reporting, and systems skills
• SQL database/reporting experience
• Strong Excel skills
• Ability to work independently and autonomously
• Manufacturing experience preferred

• Reports directly to CFO
