Are you an experienced accounting professional ready to take ownership of the general ledger and lead a high-performing team? We’re seeking a General Ledger Lead Accountant to oversee key accounting processes, ensure accuracy in financial reporting, and drive excellence across monthly close activities.

What You’ll Do

As the General Ledger manager, you’ll play a critical role in:

• Overseeing cash, lease, and debt accounting, ensuring timely and accurate journal entries.
• Reviewing monthly account reconciliations and resolving discrepancies.
• Preparing of monthly financial statements and variance analyses.
• Managing unvouchered liabilities and collaborating with Purchasing to maintain clean financials.
• Leading JD Edwards fixed asset accounting to align with U.S. GAAP and company policy.
• Reviewing debt compliance schedules and ensuring accuracy against loan documentation.
• Supporting annual audit preparation and providing ad hoc financial analysis.

What You Bring

✅ Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (CPA preferred).

✅ 4+ years of accounting experience.

✅ Strong understanding of GAAP; government accounting knowledge a plus.

✅ Experience with JD Edwards ERP or a similar enterprise accounting system.

✅ Advanced proficiency in Excel and financial data analysis.

✅ Exceptional organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
