  • assemble and perform maintenance functions on a variety of communication equipment to include but not be limited to phones, video visitation units, tablet/charging units, racks, APs. Perform cable routing to server equipment racks, patch cabling, labeling, and documenting of cable paths. Install/configure carrier level broadband access equipment (T1, DSL, Cable, Fiber, and phone lines).
  • Monitor and respond to trouble tickets consistently throughout each workday; accurately update trouble tickets via the approved ticketing software system. Troubleshoot, debug, and repair equipment in a timely manner with a focus on client satisfaction.
  • Perform quarterly equipment checks and preventative maintenance at all assigned facilities. Complete monthly inventory of tools and equipment using appropriate documentation and outlined process.
  • Assist on a variety of installation projects as assigned for both new and existing client needs; including, but is not limited to, mounting equipment such as phones, APs, charging units and wall racks, run/bend conduit, pulling wire, set-up of switches, staging racks/shelves, and assessing inventory. Will complete site surveys/walkthroughs and build orders as needed within assigned territory.
  • Ensure the Company vehicle is in safe, fully operational condition according to the Vehicle Service and Maintenance form
