Pay Range: $55/hr - $60/hour. Employee benefits include, but are not limited to, health insurance (medical, dental, vision), 401(k) plan, and paid sick leave (depending on work location).
Key Responsibilities:
- Schedule Options:
- Monday - Friday 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM
- Tuesday - Saturday 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM
- Treat patients with hand, wrist, and upper extremity injuries and conditions
- Manage post-surgical rehabilitation cases in a high-volume hand clinic
- Perform evaluations and create individualized treatment plans
- Fabricate and modify dynamic/custom splints
- Deliver therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, edema control, scar management, and patient education
- Collaborate closely with physicians, surgeons, and rehabilitation teams
- Maintain timely and accurate clinical documentation
Key Requirements and Technology Experience:
- Active California Occupational Therapist License
- Minimum 2 years of Hand Therapy experience
- Outpatient rehabilitation experience required
- Current BLS Certification from the American Heart Association (AHA)
- PAMs Certification required
- Strong experience with post-surgical rehabilitation protocols
- Certified Hand Therapist (CHT) strongly preferred
- Strong dynamic splint fabrication experience
- Experience treating orthopedic and upper extremity conditions
