At Hawai'i Pacific Health the Financial Planning department provides quality financial services to the organization's systems, directors and internal staff by acting as a liaison and business partner. As the Director, you will provide leadership and oversight of Hawai'i Pacific Health's Medical Group operations. You will be responsible for the financial management of clinical operations, revenue cycle's performance, and educational and research activities including developing financial strategy, short and long term financial plans for the HPH Medical Group, and recommend system wide financial targets to support and promote operational cost effectiveness. The Director, will collaborate and advises the EVP and CFO on rate setting and distribution of financial responsibility for risk based contracting activities and coordinates actuarial analysis. You will also identify financial/operational challenges and performance improvement opportunities, as well as new program needs, and develops and implements solutions.

Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field and/or equivalent combination of education, training and experience. Valid driver's license, abstract, and current Hawai'i auto insurance. Eight (8) years experience in Finance/Accounting, or related field within a healthcare setting, including at least five (5) years of management experience. Experience with financial reporting and budgeting, building financial dashboards and financial modeling skills. Direct experience providing financial analysis support to clinical operations leadership.
Preferred Qualifications: Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field and Certified Public Accountant (CPA). Management and financial analyst experience in healthcare provider or insurer organization with significant risk-based contracting arrangements. Experience providing financial analysis support to physician leadership.
