Job Description Title: Engineer Product I - Mechanical Systems // Line Support Engineer // CI Design Engineer Location: 928 East Vine St, PO Box 617, Ottumwa, IA - 52501 Duration: 24 Months (possible extension) Details: Design engineer supporting and windrower platform production line. Your Responsibilities: As a CI Design Engineer for Ottumwa Works located in Ottumwa, IA, you will: Provide design support and troubleshooting for the and Windrower Platform production line. Produce and/or evaluate possible design solutions to improve cost, quality and performance based on specialized knowledge of engineering applications, this may include possible involvement of other functional engineers, supply management and/or supplier personnel. Determines engineering specifications which must be fulfilled for routine problems or projects. Analyze test plan for product verification and validation of design changes. What Skills You Need: Ability to work flexible hours to support production line (occasional overtime). Experience using Creo or similar software; experience problem solving. Proficient communication while working with a team. What Makes You Stand Out: Experience with product verification and validation processes. Strong experience in Excel and PowerPoint; experience with SAP. Experience with assembly line process and documentation. Experience with weld process and documentation. Education: Ideally you will have a degree or equivalent related work experience in the following: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Agricultural Engineering (or equivalent).
