What You’ll Do:

As VP of Finance, you will oversee the organization’s financial operations while serving as a trusted advisor to executive leadership and the Board of Directors. Responsibilities include:

  • Lead financial reporting and present financial results to the Board of Directors
  • Manage the month-end close process, annual budgeting, and forecasting
  • Track donations, grants, and capital campaign expenditures
  • Process bi-weekly payroll and oversee related reporting
  • Serve as the primary liaison for external auditors and manage annual audits
  • Oversee employee benefits administration
  • Manage treasury operations, banking relationships, and cash flow
  • Ensure compliance with non-profit accounting standards and reporting requirements
  • Continuously improve financial processes, controls, and reporting accuracy

Successful candidates will bring both technical expertise and a collaborative, service-oriented mindset.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
  • 7–10 years of progressive non-profit accounting and reporting experience
  • Strong knowledge of non-profit financial statements, fund accounting, and compliance
  • Experience with ERP systems and advanced Excel skills required
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, including experience presenting to Boards
  • A proactive, hands-on approach with the ability to operate both strategically and tactically

Salary: $130-150K, depending on experience
