<div><span ><strong>Facilities Technician</strong></span></div><div> </div><div><strong>Location:</strong> Bethel, CT</div><div><strong>Payrate:</strong> $19 / hour</div><div> </div><div>Full-Time <strong>| </strong>Monday-Friday <strong>|</strong> 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM<strong> |</strong> On-site</div><div> </div><div>Ability Beyond is seeking a Facilities Technician to support the maintenance and repair of our residential and program facilities. This role is hands-on and essential to ensuring our environments are safe, functional, and well-maintained. The Facilities Technician will perform routine maintenance, respond to urgent repairs, and support preventative maintenance efforts across agency properties.</div><div> </div><div><span ><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></span></div><div>• Perform general facility maintenance including painting, drywall repair, and minor electrical, plumbing, and carpentry work</div><div>• Complete preventative maintenance and respond to corrective work orders using CMMS (Salesforce)</div><div>• Troubleshoot and resolve maintenance issues across buildings, equipment, and grounds</div><div>• Support HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and appliance repairs and upkeep</div><div>• Participate in a rotating on-call schedule to address after-hours emergencies</div><div>• Coordinate with external vendors and provide updates on work progress</div><div>• Conduct routine inspections and identify opportunities for facility improvements</div><div>• Maintain tools, equipment, and agency vehicles in clean and working condition</div><div>• Assist with furniture assembly, locksmith tasks, and other facility-related projects</div><div> </div><div><span ><strong>Qualifications</strong></span></div><div>• High school diploma or equivalent required</div><div>• 2+ years of facilities, maintenance, or related experience</div><div>• Experience across multiple trades (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry) preferred</div><div>• Trade school certification or OSHA/NFPA certifications are a plus</div><div>• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently</div><div>• Ability to respond to urgent situations, including after-hours calls as needed</div><div> </div><div><span ><strong>Benefits</strong></span></div><div>• Generous benefits package (medical, dental, vision, pet insurance)</div><div>• Paid time off (increases over years of service)</div><div>• Self-directed retirement plan options (403B)</div><div>• PSLF loan forgiveness eligibility</div><div>• Access to an Employee Assistance Program including mental health resources</div><div>• Ongoing diversity, equity, inclusion, & belonging initiatives</div>PandoLogic.
