Key Responsibilities
Clinical Leadership & Strategy
Provide executive oversight of all medical services, including primary care, specialty care, behavioral health integration, and care coordination.
Partner with the CEO and executive team to develop and execute strategic initiatives.
Champion value-based care, population health management, and health equity initiatives.
Lead provider recruitment, onboarding, mentorship, and retention strategies.
Quality & Compliance
Oversee clinical quality programs, UDS performance, and risk management.
Ensure compliance with HRSA regulations and FQHC requirements.
Advance PCMH standards and accreditation efforts.
Monitor and improve clinical productivity, access, and patient outcomes.
Provider & Staff Engagement
Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and clinical excellence.
Support professional development and continuing education.
Serve as a visible and accessible leader to medical staff.
Community & External Affairs
Represent the organization with community partners, hospitals, health systems, and public agencies.
Support grant initiatives and participate in board-level clinical reporting.
Qualifications
MD or DO from an accredited institution.
Board Certified in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or related primary care specialty.
Active, unrestricted medical license (or ability to obtain).
Minimum 5–7 years of clinical experience; 3+ years in progressive medical leadership roles preferred.
Experience in an FQHC, community health center, public health system, or integrated care model strongly preferred.
Knowledge of HRSA regulations, UDS reporting, and value-based care models highly desirable.
