Position Highlights

Compensation

Clinical Responsibilities
- Provide full-scope primary care (preventive, chronic, acute)
- Build long-term patient relationships in a community-focused setting
- Coordinate care across clinic, ER, and inpatient settings
- Participate in quality initiatives and team-based care delivery
CMO / Leadership Responsibilities (~1 day/week)
- Provide oversight and support to physicians and APPs
- Partner with executive leadership on clinical strategy and operations
- Lead quality improvement and patient outcome initiatives
- Help shape the future of care delivery at a Critical Access Hospital
About Haxtun Health
- 25-bed Critical Access Hospital serving a rural Colorado community
- Integrated system including clinic, ER, inpatient, and swing bed services
- Strong focus on continuity of care and keeping care local
Qualifications
- MD/DO, Board Certified or Eligible in Family Medicine
- Eligible for Colorado licensure
- Interest in rural medicine and leadership
- Prior leadership experience preferred (not required)
