Role Summary
We are looking for a dynamic and experienced HR Business Partner who is eager to join a start-up healthcare company and help build something from the ground up. This is a unique opportunity to shape HR strategy, culture, and talent at a high-growth organization where your impact will be felt immediately. The HR Business Partner will serve as a trusted advisor to leadership and people managers across Intune, driving both strategic HR initiatives and full-cycle talent acquisition for clinical and non-clinical roles across our PT locations nationwide. You will partner closely with hiring managers to understand workforce needs, develop proactive pipelines, and champion an exceptional employee experience from first interview to long-term retention.
Essential Responsibilities
- Provide guidance and coaching on employee relations matters, performance management, disciplinary actions, and conflict resolution
- Partner with leadership on workforce planning, organizational design, and headcount strategy aligned with company growth targets
- Drive employee engagement initiatives, retention strategies, and culture-building efforts across a geographically dispersed workforce
- Develop, implement, and continuously improve HR policies, procedures, and programs that support a high-performance, people-first culture
- Support compensation benchmarking, promotion planning, and total rewards conversations in partnership with the Director of HR
- Analyze HR metrics and people data to identify trends, surface insights, and recommend proactive solutions
- Ensure consistent application of HR policies and support compliance with applicable federal, state, and local employment laws
- Lead and support change management efforts as the company scales rapidly toward its 150+ location goal
- Participate in special HR projects and cross-functional initiatives as needed
- Manage full-cycle recruitment for clinical and non-clinical positions across Intune's growing network of PT locations
- Identify hiring needs and quality candidates in partnership with hiring managers; develop accurate, compelling job descriptions and communication templates
- Develop best-in-class sourcing strategies to build high-quality active and passive candidate pipelines across all markets
- Assist with development and execution of recruitment strategies to address hiring challenges in competitive healthcare markets
- Stay current on healthcare industry trends and innovative methods to attract top clinical and administrative talent
- Work with Marketing to increase employer brand awareness among potential recruits and professional networks
- Attend career fairs, university events, and other recruitment functions to build talent pipelines
- Develop and maintain professional relationships with colleges, universities, PT programs, and diverse professional organizations
- Review applicant pipelines; determine when sponsored ads are needed and manage sponsorship budgets accordingly
- Maintain accurate candidate electronic files and documentation in the ATS and HRIS platforms
- Manage onboarding of all new hires, including review of background check results and coordination with hiring managers
- Ensure recruitment and employment activities are in compliance with all applicable government regulations

- Strong knowledge of HR best practices, employment law, and talent acquisition strategies within healthcare
- Proven ability to operate as a strategic business partner while maintaining strong execution and attention to detail

- High degree of discretion and professionalism in handling confidential and sensitive employee information
- Comfort operating in ambiguity and driving results in a fast-paced, start-up environment

- Technologically savvy; proficient with HRIS, ATS, LinkedIn, Indeed, and Microsoft Office
Position type and expected hours of work
This is a full-time, onsite position in Brentwood, TN.
Travel
Ability to travel as needed for recruiting events, career fairs, and clinic visits.
Required education and experience
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
- 5+ years of progressive HR and/or talent acquisition experience required
- Demonstrated experience in an HR Business Partner or generalist capacity strongly preferred
- Experience in healthcare recruitment and/or HR for a multi-site organization preferred
- PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, or SHRM-SCP certification a plus
- Familiarity with relevant software platforms preferred (Microsoft Office, Indeed, LinkedIn Recruiter, ATS)
