Medical Assistant (MA-C) – Outpatient Community Health Clinic (Seattle Area)

We are seeking three enthusiastic, adaptable, and patient-focused Medical Assistants (MA-C) to join our team in providing high-quality care to underserved communities. Schedule & Shift Details
- Hours: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- Type: Full-Time, 40 hours per week
- Work Location: 100% On-site
Key Responsibilities
- Patient Rooming & Flow: Follow clinic protocols for efficiently rooming and exiting patients, ensuring a welcoming and professional experience.
- Clinical Care & Injections: Administer vaccinations, immunizations, injections, and distribute oral medications under a physician's direct order. Perform venipuncture as required.
- Vitals & Documentation: Accurately obtain patient vital signs and thoroughly document clinical information within the EMR system.
- Provider Support & Charting: Assist your assigned medical provider with charting office visits, ensuring seamless communication and comprehensive patient care coordination.
- Care Coordination: Manage the physician team's Inbasket and diligently complete all provider referrals for every patient.
Requirements & Qualifications
Required:
- Licensure: Active Medical Assistant-Certified (MA-C) credential through the Washington State Department of Health (DOH).
- Soft Skills: A positive attitude, coachability, excellent multi-tasking abilities, and a strong eagerness to learn.
Preferred (Plus Skills):
- Technology: Prior experience utilizing EPIC Electronic Medical Records (EMR).
- Experience: Background in customer service, medical office settings, or prior COVID-19 support initiatives.
- Languages: Bilingual fluency in Spanish or Russian is a strong asset, though not required.
