Accounting Manager

Location: Milford – Hybrid (3-4 days onsite)

Salary: $100-130k depending on experience

Responsibilities of Accounting Manager:

  • Monthly revenue reporting
  • Manage and oversee the AP team, review AP invoices, issue payments, maintain relationships with consolidated bills vendors
  • Maintain high volume fixed asset module, record monthly depreciation and disposals
  • Month end general ledger account reconciliations
  • Administer travel expense software, approve employee expenses, review and post monthly transactions to the general ledger
  • Sales and tax reporting
  • Annual issuance of 1099s
  • Supports annual audit
  • Departmental support for Operations, Real Estate, Marketing & Finance teams
  • Increase department efficiency with a focus on expediting month end close
  • Must be willing to be in person at the Corporate HQ 3-4 days per week
  • Ad Hoc projects as assigned by management

Preferred Qualifications of Accounting Manager:

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting
  • 5+ years of experience in accounting, preferably in a supervisory role
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles
  • Must be technically proficient in Excel
  • Strong communication skills to effectively interact with various internal and external teams with a proven ability to build cross-functional partnerships and inspire collaboration and action
