This role is well-suited for an Accounting Manager who enjoys being involved in the details while also leading and developing a team. Key Responsibilities – Accounting Manager

• Oversee daily accounting operations with an emphasis on accrual-based accounting
• Manage core functions including Accounts Payable, Payroll, and balance sheet activities
• Lead month-end close, reconciliations, and ensure accuracy of financial records
• Identify and implement process improvements, automation, and system upgrades
• Set clear workflows, timelines, and expectations across the accounting team
• Partner with the Controller on enhancing accounting processes and infrastructure
• Coach, mentor, and manage accounting staff to support development and performance
• Assist with audits, compliance, and internal reporting needs
• Serve as a strategic and operational partner to finance leadership

Qualifications – Accounting Manager

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
• Active CPA required
• 6+ years of progressive accounting experience
• Public accounting experience strongly preferred
• Previous leadership or supervisory experience
• Strong understanding of GAAP and accrual accounting
• Experience improving processes and implementing system enhancements
• Background managing AP, payroll, and balance sheet functions
• Strong communication, organization, and leadership skills
