Accounting Manager

Our client, a privately held, growing company near Whitemarsh, MD is seeking an Accounting Manager to lead cash operations, AR, AP, and process optimization across the business. The company is over $300 million in annual revenue and this Accounting Manager role is a high‑visibility leadership role managing a team of 8 with strong cross‑functional exposure.

Accounting ManagerQualifications:

• Bachelor’s in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 5–10+ years in accounting, treasury, credit, or financial operations
• Strong management experience required (must be able to lead and develop team members)
• Strong AR/AP knowledge
• Experience transforming and automating financial operations
• Solid analytical skills and Excel proficiency

Accounting Manager Job Duties:

• Oversee AR, AP, cash management, cash forecasting
• Lead, develop, and mentor the team — identify special projects to stretch capabilities
• Manage bank reconciliations and banking relationships
• Coordinate audit requests
• Drive process transformation and automation initiatives
• Partner cross‑functionally with Sales, Customer Service, Procurement, etc.
