Looking to build hands-on accounting experience this summer with a non-profit organization? A stable organization in the New Haven area is seeking an Accounting Intern to join their team and gain real-world exposure with their accounting department.

This is a strong opportunity for a student or recent graduate looking to strengthen their accounting foundation, work alongside experienced professionals, and gain meaningful experience that goes beyond administrative work.

• Support the Accounts Payable process, including invoice entry, coding, and vendor communication
• Assist with account reconciliations and maintaining accurate financial records
• Help with expense reporting and payment processing
• Provide general accounting support to the team on day-to-day functions
• Assist with ad hoc projects and reporting as needed

• Hands-on accounting experience (not just filing and admin work)
• Strong exposure to AP and broader accounting operations
• Opportunity to work directly with an established accounting team
• Great resume-builder for accounting, finance, or business majors
• Fast-paced environment where you can make an impact and learn quickly

• Pursuing a degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn
• Comfortable with Microsoft Excel
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Prior office or internship experience is a plus, but not required
