Shift: Second Shift | Monday–Friday | 2:00 PM – 11:00 PM

We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Custodial Worker to help maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary environment within an educational setting. This role is essential in supporting the health, safety, and wellness of students, staff, and visitors by ensuring facilities are maintained to high cleanliness and safety standards.

?? Key Responsibilities:

• Perform routine custodial duties including dusting, mopping, vacuuming, restroom cleaning, and restocking supplies

• Empty trash receptacles and ensure proper disposal procedures

• Maintain and clean custodial equipment and supplies

• Unlock and secure doors before and after cleaning activities

• Report maintenance concerns and monitor supply levels

• Support workplace safety and proper equipment handling procedures

• Assist with training new custodial staff on standard procedures

• Perform seasonal/project cleaning tasks as assigned

• Provide vendor access when needed and report concerns to supervisors

• Assist with minor maintenance and snow removal activities as needed

?? Minimum Qualifications:

? High School Diploma or GED equivalent

? No previous experience required

? Reliable, dependable, and strong work ethic

?? Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

• Knowledge of cleaning procedures, chemicals, and custodial equipment

• Understanding of workplace safety practices and sanitation standards

• Ability to operate custodial machinery such as floor scrubbers and vacuums

• Strong attention to detail and time management skills

• Good communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions

• Flexibility to adapt to changing work demands

• Background screening required, including TBI/FBI criminal history checks and reference verification
