Capacity Planning Analyst
Our client, a leading organization in autonomous transportation, is seeking a dedicated Capacity Planning Analyst to join their team. As a Capacity Planning Analyst, you will be an integral part of the Workforce Planning department supporting operational excellence and strategic staffing initiatives. The ideal candidate will demonstrate analytical thinking, proactive communication, and a collaborative mindset, which will align successfully within the organization.
Job Title: Capacity Planning Analyst
Location: Foster City, CA (3 days onsite)
Pay Range: $65/hour + Benefits
What's the Job?
- Support weekly workforce planning cycles to project staffing needs over a 6–8 week horizon
- Translate demand signals and operational inputs into accurate staffing plans using Workforce Management tools
- Review and validate planning assumptions with operational teams to ensure alignment
- Maintain and update workload forecasts and capacity calculations within WFM systems such as NICE and UKG
- Monitor real-time demand versus staffing, identifying gaps and implementing adjustments as needed
What's Needed?
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Operations, Analytics, Economics, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- 2–4 years of experience in workforce planning, capacity planning, or operations analytics
- Experience working with WFM platforms such as NICE, UKG, Verint, or similar systems
- Proficiency in SQL and/or Excel/Google Sheets for data analysis
- Strong attention to detail and ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced environment
