Imaging Coordinator

As an Imaging Coordinator, you will play a vital role in bringing this mission to life by guiding frontline teams, optimizing operations, and ensuring every patient experience reflects our highest standards of care.In this dynamic leadership role, you will partner with imaging leadership to drive excellence across daily operations, helping teams deliver safe, high-quality, and efficient imaging services. You’ll serve as a key connector—supporting caregivers, streamlining workflows, and fostering an environment of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
This role will work 4 ten-hour shifts per week. Days off rotate. Call is approximately 1 weeknight every week with a weekend call shift every 6weeks.
Essential Functions
- Ensures patient, caregiver, and guest safety and satisfaction in accordance with existing principles and standards.
- Ensures provision of high-quality diagnostic and therapeutic Imaging services in an operationally effective and efficient manner.
- Promotes caregiver engagement and team initiatives. Assists in hiring, orienting, training, staffing, retaining, evaluating, and motivating competent engaged caregivers.
- Maintains positive relationships within the department and facility including other departments, Radiologists, referring physicians, and customers.

Minimum Qualifications
- Professional Clinical Certification/Registration, i.e.; ARRT, ARDMS, etc.
- Current state Rad Tech License (if required for clinical discipline)
- Basic Life Support certification (BLS) for healthcare providers.
- Demonstrated imaging technologist experience
Preferred Qualifications
- Leadership experience.
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
- Candidates who are experienced Angio Techs, with 5 years’ experience are strongly preferred.
- Experience with advanced Angio procedures (Stroke, Neuro Interventions, Pulmonary Thrombectomy, Y-90 treatments etc.)
Physical Requirements
- Ongoing need for employee to see and read information, labels, assess patient needs, operate monitors, identify equipment and supplies.
- Frequent interactions with patient care providers, patients, and visitors that require employee to verbally communicate as well as hear and understand spoken information, alarms, needs, and issues quickly and accurately, particularly during emergency situations.
- Manual dexterity of hands and fingers to manipulate complex and delicate equipment with precision and accuracy. This includes frequent computer use and typing for documenting patient care, accessing needed information, medication preparation, etc.
- Expected to lift and utilize full range of movement to transfer patients. Will also bend to retrieve, lift, and carry supplies and equipment. Typically includes items of varying weights, up to and including heavy items.
- Need to walk and assist with transporting/ambulating patients and obtaining and distributing supplies and equipment. This includes pushing/pulling gurneys and portable equipment, including heavy items. Often required to navigate crowded and busy rooms (full of equipment, power cords on the floor, etc.)
- May be expected to stand in a stationary position for an extended period of time.
- For roles requiring driving: Expected to drive a vehicle which requires sitting, seeing and reading signs, traffic signals, and other vehicles.
