Title Registered Nurse (RN) - Cardiac Surgical Stepdown Summary We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Cardiac Surgical Stepdown team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality patient care for post-operative cardiac and cardiovascular patients while utilizing strong clinical judgment, monitoring skills, and interdisciplinary collaboration in a fast-paced healthcare environment. Responsibilities Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care using the nursing process Monitor cardiac surgical stepdown patients and report condition changes promptly Provide post-operative care for cardiac and cardiovascular patients Administer medications and treatments as prescribed Monitor telemetry, ECG, and vital signs accurately Maintain timely and accurate patient documentation Educate patients and families regarding recovery and discharge planning Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare teams Follow hospital policies, safety standards, and clinical pathways Support unit goals and participate in quality improvement activities Requirements Minimum 2 years of related nursing experience preferred Experience in Cardiac Surgical Stepdown, Telemetry, or Cardiovascular care preferred Strong communication and critical thinking skills Ability to organize and prioritize patient care effectively Detail-oriented with strong clinical judgment Education Graduate of an accredited Nursing Program Certifications & Licensure Valid Oklahoma State RN License or Multi-State RN License required BLS certification required ACLS certification preferred Skills Cardiac monitoring and telemetry Post-operative cardiac care ECG interpretation Clinical assessment and monitoring Patient education and discharge planning Team collaboration and communication Schedule 3 12 shifts Day / Night shifts available Full-Time Direct Hire Apply Interested candidates can apply with an updated resume and certification details.
