Electrician- HVAC Controls Installer

BAS Control Systems is looking to expand it's installation crew. We need HVAC Temperature Controls installers for a busy and rewarding career in Building Automation. We have current openings for ambitious and motivated persons. BAS Controls Systems specializes in HVAC Direct Digital Controls, Building Automation/Management Systems, and small electrical installations across a wide territory in Virginia. Immediate position(s) needed.

Responsibilities to include:

• Installation of various electrical systems from 24 to 460 volts.
• Conduit bending and installation
• Installation of wire and low voltage cabling
• Install and wire HVAC temperature controls equipment and electronic control devices
• Clean and maintain a neat and organized shop and jobsite
• Working on stepladders
• Lifting and moving at least 50 lbs.

*Pay based upon experience with room for advancement.

Applicant must have a valid driver's license with a good record and be able to pass a federal security background check and drug screen.

The candidate for this position must:

• be a motivated self-starter and possess the proper tools.
• be able to communicate and coordinate with other trades.
• be willing to travel to project job sites throughout the state (company-provided vehicle).
• have a general understanding of HVAC controls, BACnet communication protocol, and controls devices.
• be able to interpret schematics and blueprints.
• must be able to install electrical conduit.
