Pool Service Technician
We are looking for a Pool and Spa Service Technician to provide excellent customer service, and is great with troubleshooting. Candidates with strong communication skills who can listen to directions are preferred. You will help identify water chemistry issues, fix those issues, and maintain pools and spas. A positive attitude and a desire to promptly resolve potential customer issues or complaints will make you successful in this role. Ultimately, you will ensure that customers receive proper pool care and are satisfied with our services, which will contribute to the company's profitability.

Responsibilities

• Answer any questions customers have about their pool, or direct them to someone who does have answers
• Provide accurate information regarding chemicals used in customer's water care
• Report to Lead Technician or Maintenance/Service Manager for customer issues and when done with scheduled tasks
• Conduct price and feature comparisons to facilitate purchasing
• Cross-sell products
• Coordinate with other departments for pricing and quotes on new equipment.
• Inform customers about issues seen with their pool and/or equipment
• Provide customer feedback to the Department Manager
• Stay up-to-date with new products/services

Skills

• Proven work experience as a fast learner with attention to detail
• Understanding troubleshooting techniques
• Basic Social and customer service skills
• Knowledge of water chemistry and maintenance (Not required, but preferred, will learn on job)
• Able to lift 50 lbs bags or buckets
• Basic math skills
• Excellent communication skills, capable of building trusting relationships
• Ability to perform in fast-paced environments
• Flexibility to work various shifts
• High school degree preferred but not required
