Join Our Team as a Marketing Specialist
We are seeking a motivated, creative, and detail-oriented Marketing Specialist to join our marketing team. This role is ideal for someone looking to build a career in marketing while supporting a variety of initiatives that enhance brand awareness, strengthen customer engagement, and contribute to Midwest Bank's overall success. The Marketing Specialist will work closely with the Director of Marketing and Marketing Coordinator to assist in campaign execution, content creation, and day-to-day marketing operations. The ideal candidate is eager to learn, highly organized, and passionate about marketing, design, and storytelling.
What Were Looking For:
- Support the marketing team in executing campaigns across digital, social media, email, and traditional channels.
- Assist in the creation and coordination of marketing materials, including social media posts, digital assets, print pieces, and internal communications.
- Help maintain consistent brand messaging across all platforms and materials, ensuring alignment with company standards.
- Assist with content creation, including graphic design, photography, and video editing for marketing materials, campaigns, and bank initiatives.
- Write and edit marketing copy for social media, email, website updates, and promotional materials.
- Help update website content to ensure accuracy and alignment with current marketing efforts.
- Support email marketing efforts by assisting with campaign setup, list management, and performance tracking.
- Assist in gathering and organizing content for social media, campaigns, and internal use.
- Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute creative ideas for campaigns and promotions.
- Help coordinate marketing requests from branches and departments, ensuring timely ordering and delivery of materials.
- Assist with organizing and supporting bank events, including setup, execution, and capturing content.
- Support the maintenance of marketing calendars, task lists, and project tracking systems.
What You Bring:
- Bachelors degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field (or relevant internship experience).
- 1-3 years of experience in marketing, communications, or a related field (internships applicable).
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with attention to detail.
- Basic understanding of social media platforms and digital marketing concepts.
- Familiarity with graphic design tools (Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar) is preferred.
- Willingness to learn photography, videography, and content creation skills.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and a collaborative team mindset.
