Oven Room Scrapping / Cleaning Associate: McHenry, Illinois
Our customer in McHenry Illinois is seeking motivated individuals to join their team. We’re recruiting Oven Room Scrapping / Cleaning Associates to work fulltime on 2nd shift. As an Oven Room Scrapping / Cleaning Associate, you will be responsible for cleaning, preparing, and maintaining components to support production and ensure product quality.
Responsibilities of the Oven Room Scrapping / Cleaning Associate:
- Perform scraping, cleaning, and surface preparation of transformer cores, coils, housings, and related components.
- Remove excess materials, residue, and contaminants from manufactured parts.
- Inspect parts for defects or irregularities before and after cleaning.
- Use cleaning tools, solvents, and equipment according to safety guidelines.
- Assist in preparing components for assembly, finishing, or testing.
- Maintain organized work areas and properly label materials.
- Follow work instructions and safety procedures at all times.
Oven Room Scrapping / Cleaning Associate Requirements and Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required
- Experience using hand and power tools.
- Ability to read blueprints preferred.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to work in a hot and fastpaced environment.
Pay for Oven Room Scrapping / Cleaning Associate: $19.00/hour.
