Alleviate Health automates patient recruitment for clinical trials using AI agents that coordinate across SMS, voice, and email. Clinical trial delays cost $600K to $8M per day — Alleviate helps research sites close that gap.

The company works with 7 of the top 15 research site networks in the country, including Alcanza Clinical Research, CenExel, Centricity Research, M3 Wake Research, Eximia Research, and Profound Research. The platform has been battle-tested across 500K+ patient interactions, 190+ sites, and 300+ trials. Backed by Andreessen Horowitz, with strategic investors including the co-founder of Flatiron Health and the CEO of Tennr.

This is a high-ownership Business Operations role reporting directly to the CEO. You will own customer deployments end to end, managing the full arc from onboarding to optimization. This is not a playbook-heavy position — the right candidate will build processes from scratch as the company scales, balancing tactical execution with strategic thinking around how to deliver complex AI systems reliably.

• Own end-to-end customer deployments, including scope, timeline, and customer success metrics
• Deploy AI agents into customer environments and iterate based on real-world performance data
• Design and scale operational processes for multi-site customer rollouts
• Communicate directly with research site networks to understand requirements and manage expectations
• Build systems and workflows from scratch when playbooks do not exist

• 2–6 years of experience at a startup, consulting firm, or investment bank with demonstrated ability to manage complex projects or operations
• Extreme ownership mindset and comfort operating without a defined playbook
• Ability to adapt quickly in ambiguous environments
• Top-tier school background strongly preferred — top 10–15 universities (Harvard, UPenn, or equivalent)
• Rigorous analytical training
• Based in San Francisco — fully onsite

Strong signals include MBB consulting (Bain, McKinsey, BCG), top investment banking, PE or VC firms, FAANG or Mag 7 companies, early-stage founders or founding ops hires, and candidates with demonstrated high agency, strong zero-to-one project ownership, and the ability to build lasting systems and playbooks.

• Prior consulting background at Bain, McKinsey, or BCG
• Experience at a top investment bank, PE firm, VC firm, FAANG, or Mag 7 company
• Early-stage startup experience scaling from zero to Series A or Series B
• High agency and demonstrated ability to figure things out independently
