Responsibilities
Provide direct patient care in medical-surgical and telemetry units per protocols.
Monitor patient status, interpret telemetry data, and report changes promptly.
Document care, procedures, and outcomes accurately in electronic health records.
Maintain patient safety standards and enforce infection control protocols.
Meet performance targets via metrics and contribute to pipeline-based planning.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to develop and adjust care plans.
Coordinate admission, transfer, and discharge processes to optimize throughput.
Identify opportunities for improvement and participate in quality/PI initiatives.
Uphold on-site presence and accountability for personal productivity and outcomes.
Demonstrate continuous learning through mandatory trainings and competency checks.
Assist in patient education and discharge planning to empower self-care.
Experience/Qualifications
Active RN license with medical-surgical or telemetry experience.
Proficient telemetry interpretation and rapid response to rhythm changes.
Strong documentation in EHR and accurate care/procedure recording.
Patient safety and infection control adherence with standard protocols.
Ability to meet performance metrics and contribute to pipeline planning.
Collaborative care with interdisciplinary teams to adjust care plans.
Experience coordinating admissions, transfers, and discharges.
Quality improvement participation and data-driven problem solving.
On-site presence, accountability for productivity, and self-management.
